Privacy Policy - Fermentation Buddy

Fermentation Buddy is developed by Rotwell Studio. This policy explains what information we collect and how it is used.

Information We Collect

We collect the following information:

• Google Advertising ID (AAID) – used for ads personalization, frequency capping, and fraud prevention.
• Anonymous usage data via Firebase Analytics to help improve app features.
• Crash reports and diagnostics to identify and fix app issues.
• Google Account information if you sign in (name, email, profile image). Only stored within Google authentication services.

Local Data Stored On Your Device

The app may store fermentation batch data, tank information, and other notes on your device. This data remains local unless you sign in (Pro feature), in which case your data is securely stored in Firebase Cloud Firestore.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third-party companies.

However, the following Google services may process data on our behalf:

• Google AdMob (advertising)
• Google Play Services
• Firebase Analytics / Crashlytics

Data Security

All data transferred to or from Firebase is encrypted in transit using HTTPS.

Account & Data Deletion

If you signed into Fermentation Buddy using your Google account, you may request deletion of your cloud-stored data at any time.

To request deletion:

• Email us at: dev.rotwellstudio@gmail.com
• Use subject: Fermentation Buddy Data Deletion Request
• Include the Google account email used in the app

All cloud-stored data associated with your account will be permanently deleted within 30 days. Local data stored on your device can be deleted by uninstalling the app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
